Thank you for visiting. Started back in 2006 by the Lao Family, Asia Bistro is the third restaurant opened by owner Mieng.
Mieng and his wife first started Bamboo Garden in Normandale. After five years, the Lao Family opened Emperor's Garden across from the Montgomery Mall for the next 17 years. Customers new and old are always welcomed with a smile.

Unfortunately Montgomery has become overrun with average to low quality "Chinese" buffets. Fortunately, we still have Asia Bistro. This family has been running quality restaurants in town for as long as I can remember. Each time the food is always great and prices are reasonable. Our family favorite is the sizzling rice soup and no meal at Asia Bistro starts without it! Perfectly seasoned and full of veggies it is also good as a lighter midday lunch.
Everything here is good so I will just say try this place and you won't be disappointed.
One last note those reviewers who are so upset about this not being authentic Chinese. I agree this is not authentic Chinese. It is good, well prepared food within the Chinese vein. However, for those who desire chicken feet, tripe and dim sum we must travel to Birmingham or Atlanta. We simply don't have the population demographics here to support true Chinese cuisine. So to that reviewer I say simply - don't hate the player - hate the game!
My family has been going to Asia Bistro since it opened and before that we used to always go to Emperors Garden, which used to be run by the same people. Once they moved out east to Asia Bistro we gave it a try and loved it. Many of the same menu items were kept from the old restaurant as well as new menu items. Their hot and sour soup is the best in town and give the kung po chicken a try if you like spicy food. The people are friendly and service is great. Also their prices are cheap, especially lunch.
